Terms of Use

These terms apply when you use PocketFin (Pocket Finance Tracker). By using PocketFin, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

The service

PocketFin lets you manually record and review personal income, expenses, and due payments. It may also provide summaries and CSV exports. We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the service.

Not financial advice

PocketFin is a record-keeping tool, not a bank, payment service, lender, accountant, or financial adviser. It does not move money or verify the accuracy of your entries. Summaries are informational only. You are responsible for your financial decisions and for checking exported or displayed information before relying on it.

Your account

You sign in through Google and are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account and device. You must provide accurate information, use only your own account, and notify us if you believe your PocketFin account has been accessed without permission.

Your records

You keep ownership of information you enter. You give PocketFin permission to host and process that information only as needed to provide and protect the service. You are responsible for your entries and should keep exports or other backups of records you cannot afford to lose.

Acceptable use

You must not:

• use PocketFin for unlawful, fraudulent, or abusive activity;
• attempt to access another person's account or records;
• interfere with or overload the service; or
• reverse engineer or bypass security controls except where the law permits it.

Third-party services

Google Sign-In is provided by Google and is subject to Google's own terms and policies. PocketFin is not responsible for third-party services.

Availability and warranties

PocketFin is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, and non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the service will always be available, error-free, or free from data loss.

Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, PocketFin and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, or opportunities arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.

Account termination

You may stop using PocketFin at any time and may request account deletion. We may suspend or terminate access if you materially violate these terms, misuse the service, or create a security or legal risk.

Changes

We may update these terms. The revised terms will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use PocketFin after an update means you accept the revised terms.
